- The engineered mesh helps reduce the weight of the shoe while providing a more consistent fit. And more weight has been saved by reducing the size of the heel and tongue.
- The midsole bulges at the heel to help reduce weight on the inside of the foot to give you a more stable ride. Nike reduced the weight of the outsole by using a thinner rubber compared with the Vaporfly 3.
